How to design a bathroom

A step by step guide and some Studio KP non-negotiables

Morning! This was one of my most requested substacks so I’m going to try and give some useful pointers (not sure how easy this will be in text format but here goes!)

Right so bathrooms designs are probably one of the trickiest/most technical parts of the reno as there is no margin for error/builders interpretation and so you have to be very prescriptive in terms of layout, tiling plans, grout colour/spacing, drain position, lighting etc. I also think bathrooms are often quite meh (how often do you see a bathroom you LOVE- rarely IMO). So it’s a great opportunity to really dig deep and be creative.
